I am appalled that the hard-earned, limited tax dollars of Oregonians are being used to prioritize home ownership for certain non-US citizens. Oregon can’t end this state-sponsored discrimination soon enough.’ “At the same time, we have politicians like Virginia Stapleton, Salem City Council, and State lawmaker candidate, trying to block funding for affordable housing for Oregon citizens because it harms the environment.” That says all you need to know about the Democrats that run this state and pass its laws. Oh, how I miss the years ’58 – ‘70 when common sense ran this state. How does it feel to be an American citizen, livin’ in Oregon and payin’ state taxes so an illegal alien can get $30,000 given to ‘em by the state that they don’t have to pay back, but YOU have to pay full-bore for your home?

USPS considering slowing down mail delivery to save money. A couple of things: 1. The USPS just raised the cost to mail a letter by a nickel to 73¢, so right out the gate, we’re paying more for slower service. 2. If their processing speed slows to the point of unacceptability, their business’s gonna drop like a rock ’cause it’ll push more and more people to pay everything online whenever possible. That’ll take even MORE money away from a bloated federal agency already flailing like a non-swimmer in the deep end.
