New poll: 43% of likely young voters view Islamic Sharia law positively. You’ve gotta be SHITTIN’ me. How many times do I haveta go over this? Obviously, the 43% have never spent any time in the Middle East, or any country run by ragheads. The linked article gave no data on the respondents’ sex, but this writer has a real problem believing that any female who knew ANYTHING about Sharia law would be a part of that 43%, unless they thought a law requiring full-body covering and no skin showing when in public was the way to go. Also, it’s hard for me to believe that any young American in today’s society would condone the stoning death of a married adulterer or adulteress and 100 lashes for an unmarried adulterer or adulteress, or that the punishment for a thief was havin’ his hand cut off. Getting back to the female participants, I’m pretty sure they had no idea that if they were being served at the counter in a public establishment, their transaction would stop and they would have to withdraw if a man entered and wanted something. They could only resume their business after the man left. I spent the better part of a year in Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War, personally experienced a society governed by Sharia law, and, as a result, can’t imagine any American born and raised here embracing its principles.

Abigail Spanberger (D-VA) told reporters Friday that her administration is “looking into” the possibility that it restored the voting rights of deceased individuals when reinstating voting rights for Virginians with prior felony convictions.
