As anyone who’s transited sixth or seventh can attest to, the endangered pedestrians the article refers to are the never-ending parade of bums and bumettes darting across either of the major arterials, paying no mind to whether or not they’re using a crosswalk. Here’s an idea: Set up a Transition Center, round up all the bums and bus ‘em over there. Pedestrian problem solved.

Would you ever vote for a socialist candidate? I’ve got to assume that the 18% who voted YES are blind in one eye and can’t see outta the other. After all the stuff the commie raghead Mamdani has put New Yorkers through (so far), and assuming the 18% have enough sense to read and watch video news reports, I’m amazed that ANYBODY could take that position. Also, I can only guess that the YES respondents were all from the younger generation, who’re frustrated because they can’t buy status symbols to show off to their peers with the $17.50 minimum wage they make (IF they have a job).
