OREGON OBSERVATIONS 30 JULY 2025

Springfield police to install more than two dozen license-plate reading cameras around city. All right. I’m sick and tired of all the whinin’ about these cameras and privacy issues. They only read the license plates, people. If you wanna bitch about cameras and privacy issues, go live in Germany for a while. The stealthy traffic cameras they use move around. I’ve seen ’em on little tripods next to the railing of an overpass (where they blend in and’re hard to detect), with a wire leading down to a control vehicle parked outta sight under the overpass. When THEIR speed trap cameras capture images, the police send a photographic print to the address associated with the license plate number, which includes a clear picture of the license plate, the posted speed, the vehicle’s speed, and the driver, along with any other occupant of the front seat. I shouldn’t have to tell you what happens when that envelope’s opened by half of the married couple, who sees their betrothed rolling through a speed trap snuggled up in the front seat beside the person they’re havin’ an affair with.

DAILY DELIBERATIONS 30 JULY 2025

New legislation aims to block Chinese ownership of U.S. farmland and homes. Higher education institutions have had multiple Chinese foreign exchange students arrested for activities including spying on U.S. military bases, smuggling dangerous biological pathogens, and illegally voting in the 2024 presidential election. Congress’s on the right track. It doesn’t take a lot of research to see the tentacles of the communist Chinese monster are spreading all over the world – loaning poor nations money to build ports or airbases, then taking the facility over when the host nation defaults on the loan. The last thing we need is for them to get a toehold here.

NATIONAL NOTES.1 29 JULY 2025

Trump slams Europe over immigration, says ‘horrible invasion’ is killing the continent. Trump called it a ‘horrible invasion.’ I’ve posted on this on and off for YEARS, and of course he’s right. Only people who’ve spent any time in pre-EU Europe know what I’m talkin’ about. It may’ve been a coincidence, but this writer’s convinced their illegal immigrant problem was born when the individual borders of the EU’s member states died. That, combined with the EU’s arrogant, holier-than-thou leadership style, formed a perfect storm of European wetbacks.

NATIONAL NOTES 29 JULY 2025

Homeless people can be removed from the streets by cities and states in a new Trump executive order. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Trump is ‘delivering on his commitment to Make America Safe Again.’ Turnin’ cartwheels doesn’t BEGIN to cover it! I’m sure I mentioned that I sent my Transition Center plans to #45/47 when he was #45 and again when he returned to be #47. The executive order outlined above, while not a carbon copy of my plan, certainly appears to be the result of someone in his administration reading it, paying attention to what they read, and putting their spin on it. I couldn’t be happier.

DAILY DELIBERATIONS.1 29 JULY 2025

Man discovers ‘ghost town’ full of empty, eerie hotels: ‘Like a time capsule.’ Abandoned Japanese resort hotels have stood nearly untouched for over three decades. If you do a little research, you’ll find that the US has close to 300 times more bums and bumettes than Japan, and you can bet your sweet ass if that former resort were located in the States, it would be filled with scofflaw squatters.
