Shasta Middle School to close after 2025-26 school year. In the last 10 years, enrollment in the Bethel School District has dropped by almost 900 students. Because of declining enrollment and a budget deficit, board members made the difficult decision to close Shasta. In case you haven’t figured it out, this will lead to overcrowded schools and a substandard educational experience elsewhere. Why? Because of the godless and patriotism-free Democrat indoctrination factories we call schools, more and more people are choosin’ to homeschool their kids. As a direct result, enrollment plummets, forcing more and more tax-dollar-funded institutions to close. It’s not as bad as a dog chasin’ its tail yet, but it’s gettin’ there.
