Imagine you’re $354 million in debt, you’ve been forced into bankruptcy, but you still have some cash hidden in a safe that you use for a splurge-spending spree, like the impending trial wasn’t even happening. When it’s over, you’re back to bein’ flat broke. If the Democrats somehow encouraged ODOT’s behavior ’cause they think the referendum to put their $4.3 billion tax increase on next year’s ballot is gonna fail, they’re sadly mistaken, and’ve led ODOT down the proverbial garden path.
