These scandals are no different from telling the county that the check’s in the mail and then marking your property tax bill paid when you haven’t taken a dime outta your bank account to pay ’em. If there’s no confirmation process, no WONDER they’re gettin’ ripped off, and it’s our tax dollars the fraudsters are stealin’.
