OREGON OBSERVATIONS 23 MAY 2025

Kotek Floats Stealing Kicker. Hey governor! Here’s an idea. How about halting all the funds this state and its counties give to bums every year – in excess of $5.8 billion – and you’d have the money. Might as well. I’ve been floatin’ my Transition Center idea for years, and nobody seems interested. We voted in the kicker years ago, to lock it away in Oregon’s Constitution to keep it away from you f⭐⚡⭐in’ politicians, but you’ve been hellbent to get your hands on it ever since.

To make that kind of mistake at a time of a grieving family’s greatest despair is unconscionable.

Oregon has the sixth-highest income tax rate out of all 50 states (only 5 states are taxed more, and 44 are taxed less), and its residents are tired of gettin’ milked like a cow.
