Is cutting government spending the best way to reduce the national debt? 85% said YES. It’s a commonsense thing. How else are we gonna do it? The government takes in $3.3 billion a day, and we havta pay $36 billion a day just to pay the interest on over $38 trillion. There’re only two choices. Either go on a spending diet or bleed the taxpayers dry. As it is right now, each taxpayer’d have to come up with over $ 330,000 to pay off their share of the debt. Other than the filthy rich, who’s got that kinda extra cash lyin’ around?
