Advocates scramble to help around 200 homeless along railroad tracks in Eugene. One of the bumettes tellin’ the reporter that they didn’t have anywhere to go, was misleading. There’s plenty of land to squat on. They’re just not convenient locations, close to hangout spots and places where they can buy booze and score. Here’s an idea: If they’re not gonna use my Transition Centers, why don’t all the bleedin’ heart do-gooders let ’em set up tents and drag trash into THEIR yards? That way, THEY could put up with all the carousin’, shittin’ in buckets (or leavin’ a pile anywhere), and discarded needles. The rest of us sure as hell don’t wanna put up with it.
