OREGON OBSERVATIONS 10 DECEMBER 2025

Locals react as Gov. Tina Kotek announces 2026 reelection campaign: ①. “I didn’t vote for her the first time and will not vote for her next time. She has shown she can’t abide by the laws, has aided illegal immigrants over citizens, violating our laws, we didn’t even get to vote if we wanted to be a sanctuary state, she wants to make sure they have jobs while the welfare rolls grow, more and more people homeless, in part by allowing rents to go up beyond “affordable” She came up with the disastrous “legalize hard drugs”  All we hear is tax this, tax that, raise the fees. I would hope the people of Oregon have learned their lesson, but I lost that hope when I know, regardless of anything, there are those who will vote with their party no matter what, and that is a mistake. Voting is your chance to say “I don’t agree with you,” and people throw it away by voting with their party, even when they don’t agree. I can’t think of anything good she has done.” ②. “I am an Oregonian and Kotek is awful … my entire family will NOT be voting for her ever.” ③. The last thing she does is take care of the people of Oregon!” That about sums it up. Maybe there’s hope after all. BTW – there was not even ONE pro-Kotek comment.
