Fixin’ the public defender problem in this state by lettin’ crooks off the hook, is like throwin’ the baby out with the bathwater. Here’s an idea: Instead of turnin’ the lawbreakers back out on the street to commit even MORE crimes, why don’t they just extend the statute of limitations and create an extended prosecution list, so law enforcement can pick ’em up when a defender is available? There’s not an ounce of common sense to be found among ANY of the Democrat-infested brains of these activist woke-progressive judges.
