Potential school closures and staff layoffs in Eugene 4J’s future. Here’s an idea – have the state give ’em the money from the $7 billion this state uses for bums and wetbacks every year. I’d rather see my tax dollars go towards keepin’ kids in school than for somebody that broke federal law to be here, or people who thought school was too hard, and traded a chance at an employable skill for a tent under a bridge.
