Proposed ballot measure to raise corporate taxes, give every Oregonian $750 a year likely to make November ballot. I’m pretty sure I’ve commented on this before, although, at the time, it was just in the conceptual stage. Now, however, it’s apparently close to being a full-blown Californiaesque nightmare. As if the Democrat’s CAT tax wasn’t enough, now they want to levy another 3% tax on corporations. HELLO! If you don’t think that 3% won’t eventually trickle down to the consumer in the form of increased prices, give me a call. I’ve still got some of that Arizona oceanfront property left. BTW, as we should all expect, the groups and people funding Initiative Petition 17 are all out of California – every last one of ‘em. Is ANYBODY surprised that the communists are tryin’ to spread their slime across the border?
