OREGON OBSERVATIONS 2 MARCH 2026

House lawmakers pass lodging tax hike to fund Oregon wildlife. Oregon House lawmakers voted Tuesday to hike the state’s lodging tax to pay for wildlife conservation programs and to compensate ranchers whose cattle are killed by wolves. If the treehuggin’ earthfirsters hadn’t’ve brought back the wolves, there wouldn’t be a need to compensate ranchers, ’cause the cattle wouldn’t be gettin’ killed. QUIT ELECTIN’ DEMOCRATS!!!
