OREGON OBSERVATIONS.1 17 FEBRUARY 2026

Change to timber receipts won’t help Lane County’s budget. Here’s an idea to get the county’s budget back on track: Don’t spend the $7.6 million you were gonna spend on bums. Once that happens, those problems’ll go away on their own. If you have a rat infestation ’cause you’re leavin’ food outside, quit puttin’ food outside, and they’ll move on to find it someplace else.

OREGON OBSERVATIONS 17 FEBRUARY 2026

Record evictions in Oregon highlight urgent housing crisis. Hey all you Salem Democrats! This is EXACTLY what I’m talkin’ about. You need to peel off a few million from the $7 BILLION you spend every year on wetbacks and bums, and restore the eviction prevention funds you stole. You guys have got to have the worst case of priority misalignment I’ve ever seen. Let me guess.  You thought that once people were kicked out and livin’ in a tent on the sidewalk, you’d help ’em out with money from the bum fund? You know, the one you won’t touch. That $7 billion might as well be a sacred cow – you’d watch the entire state go down in flames before you took one red cent away from the homeless and illegal aliens.

DAILY DELIBERATIONS.1 17 FEBRUARY 2026

Biden admin skirted rules to deliver massive contract to nonprofit run by ex-official.  How many more years is it gonna take to reveal all of Braindead Biden’s corruption? Just when we think we’ve seen it all, we get pulled back in. Biden’s a Democrat’s Democrat – in the worst possible way, and the epitome of what’s wrong with this country. The asshole can’t even SPELL common sense, let alone have any.

DAILY DELIBERATIONS 17 FEBRUARY 2026

Mamdani proposes 2% NYC income tax hike on millionaires to address $7B budget shortfall, ‘narrowed from initial $12B.’ If they haven’t already done so, it’s time for any millionaires who’re still there to pack their bags and join their Californian compatriots in Florida, Texas, or Tennessee. Oh, and BTW, they shouldn’t forget to thumb their nose at the communist sonofabitch on their way out the door.

NATIONAL NOTES 16 FEBRUARY 2026

Trump admin. set to repeal the 2009 Obama-era finding that greenhouse gas emissions from motor vehicles endanger public health. In case you haven’t figured it out, this is a biggie. These onerous regulations effectively cost $1.3 trillion. California’s CARB regulation was born outta this Brainless Barack clusterf⚡⭐⚡, and did nothin’ but create an expensive headache for anyone who had anything to do with the heavy equipment or trucking industry. Back in my Service Manager days, I remember having to follow federal EPA inspectors around the yard while they confirmed our equipment engine serial numbers matched those on a list they’d brought with them. As usual, havin’ manufacturers of ANY kinda vehicle or equipment jump through government regulatory hoops drives up the cost of whatever’s being produced. If you don’t believe that, give me a call. I’ve still got some of that oceanfront property in Arizona for sale.

OREGON OBSERVATIONS.1 16 FEBRUARY 2026

Oregon Gov. Tina Kotek is among the most unpopular governors. A dive into the linked data reveals that a couple of Democrat governors have higher disapproval ratings than Crazy Kotek, but the REAL shocker is two infamous Democrats with 60% approval ratings – notably Nitwit Newsom (California) and Wrongway Whitmer (Michigan). As I’ve been sayin’ for years, the voters of those two states obviously think they’re bein’ treated well, and deserve everything they get.

OREGON OBSERVATIONS 16 FEBRUARY 2026

Oregon’s Education Workforce Climbed While Student Enrollment Slid. Over the past five years, the number of full-time employees at the state’s 197 school districts has grown by nearly 17%. At the same time, student enrollment has shrunk nearly 3%. And you wonder why the Democrats in this state are always turnin’ over rocks to find more money? Stuff like THIS is why. It’d be one thing if enrollment INCREASED by 17%. But it didn’t. It DECREASED by 3%. Then they’ve got the gall to wonder why they’ve gotta can teachers to make ends meet.

DAILY DELIBERATIONS.1 16 FEBRUARY 2026

Only one House Dem voted in favor of voter ID, proof of citizenship in US elections. The bill would require voter ID in elections as early as this coming November. That means 213 Democrats voted against havin’ to prove you’re an American citizen before you’re allowed to vote. Luckily, despite that, the measure passed. And you wonder why I hate Democrats as much as I hate my ex-wife
