Re: Hey Biden, you jackass! This is the way it’s done. Maybe you should send some of your lackeys down to Texas to take lessons in how to capture, process, convict, and put in jail illegal aliens. While you’re at it, why don’t you pay for a poll among border state residents who can’t leave the house unarmed because of your open borders and see how many will vote for any of your donkey’s-ass Democrats? If you ask me, those landowners should be suing YOU for all the damage the wetbacks’ve done to their property.

All you’ve done is blame inflation, to include astronomical gas prices, on Putin, Trump, and anybody else you can think of. On day one you cancelled the keystone pipeline, and halted new oil leases on federal land. If you’re serious about doing everything you can to shield Americans from pain at the pump, then take away your campaign promise to restrict the oil industry and stifle your greenie earthfirster fans who’re attacking the industry, and by association, our energy independence.

Re:   If these indignant snowflakes had ANY knowledge that extended past the sheltered and insulated confines of the school yard, they’d know that drug searches happen in the real world. Thinking back to my squad leader days in the ’70s, it happened regularly – show up at the barracks at o-dark-thirty and tear apart your squad members’ room looking for imaginative places they might’ve hidden any illegal drugs. It wasn’t prompted by suspicious activity. It was an equal opportunity search. Fast-forward to Saudi Arabia at the end of the First Gulf War. I got to go on a 3-day R & R to Bahrain. To get there, you take a bus across a 14-mile bridge over the Persian Gulf (think going down to the keys from mainland Florida). At the international border, halfway in between, there was a manmade island (it looked like a big traffic roundabout with parking). Three days later, on the way back, the bus stopped there. Everybody had to leave their overnight bag on the bus and disembark. This was done so a crew of Saudi police could go through the entire bus, including the passengers’ bags, looking for any porn, booze or drugs.

Re: Does anybody else read these articles in their entirety? Suppose you’ve visited friends that live in one of Eugene’s newer multiplex developments built in the last few years. In that case, you may’ve noticed that parking is woefully inadequate, and by their actions, the city council, and more specifically, the tie-breaking woke progressive mayor, have just made things worse. If a future multiplex is located within 1/4 mile of an EMX line, they don’t have to include off-street parking. What’s the deal with that? Making the future tenants of these places walk 1/4 mile in the rain to catch a bus is bad enough. It all but guarantees that they won’t have any visitors come calling if they have to park over 1/4 mile away, and God forbid they want to throw a BBQ, New Year’s Eve or Super Bowl party at their apartment. Have the Marxist-loving Democrats suddenly gone anti-social?
