Re: Not to put too fine a point on it, but I can’t say it enough – if IP 17 makes the ballot this November, it HAS to be voted down! If passed, it’d be a worse law than the one that New York wrote 109 years ago. It’s taken four years for that law to be overturned by the Supreme Court.

Re: It doesn’t do any good to spend time investigating an individual during a firearm pre-purchase background check, if the results of that investigation are going to be ignored. The punk that killed 7 people over the 4th weekend was flagged as a ‘clear and present danger,’ but was allowed to buy a firearm anyway – FOUR TIMES! What the hell’s THAT all about? The problem is starting to be apparent. In their headlong rush to show the voting public that they’re doing something to curb the epidemic of mass shootings, anti-gun Democrats are cobble-rigging half-assed measures together, that have more holes than Swiss cheese, just so they can get elected. That’s like saying you’re helping to put out a raging forest fire by pissing on it.

Re: Let’s see – at 8.3%, the U.S. currently has the worst inflation of any country in the free world, $5 a gallon gas, and we’re in the first stages of a recession (by the technical definition, it’s not coming, IT’S HERE). If those aren’t enough reasons to get rid of as many Democrats as we can this coming November, I don’t know what is. If there aren’t any Republicans on the ballot for your local races, I’d expect to see a lot of write-ins for Donald J. Duck and Mickey M. Mouse.

The Republican governors of the two states involved are demanding protection for them. If that doesn’t convince you how badly the Democrats in power need to go, I don’t know what will. Wait I know – how about the worst inflation in 40 years and a stock market slide that’s taken away 401K gains not seen since the .com disaster of the late’90s?

Re: Regular readers of these pages have often heard me rail against the Soros-elected soft-on-crime Multnomah County DA. Now it appears the county judges are as bad as he is. A new investigation shows that 80% of people released to pretrial supervision in felony cases, have skipped court one to ten times. Who’s ready to move to Portland where you can rub shoulders with felons walking down the street instead of visiting them in jail?

It appears they don’t have any problems with bums and dopers littering the ground with used syringes for kids to pick up and play with, but there’s a red line when it comes to those dangerous plastic coatings on juice boxes. Biden’s election as president should go down in history as a cloak of shame worn by the Democratic party. Who else would be elected by a blind group of deniers, when evidence of illicit monetary gain involving his son’s influence-peddling, along with the kid’s drug use, and whore solicitation were public knowledge BEFORE the election?
