Re: An email sent to both Oregon’s Democratic senators, reprinted here with the author’s permission: Pardon my French, but are you nuts? The U.S. economy is being dragged down by the worst inflation in 40 years, and your answer is to shackle small pass-through businesses with an additional 3.8% tax? Those of us imbued with an above-average amount of common sense will tell you that when the economy’s in a slump, the answer’s not to get a bigger shovel so you can dig the hole deeper and faster. The Democrats of this country elected a president that drove the economy into a ditch, and instead of taking the advice of people that could get us back on the road, he grabbed another gear and hit the gas, slinging more mud, and making things worse. The people elect members of Congress they represent to speak on their behalf. How many people in Oregon advise you to follow your party’s agenda and lead us into the dark, impoverished forest of wokeness? Any elected Democrat needs to find a rock to stand on by November, or they might get wet when the red tidal wave hits.

Re: Once again, Oregon’s in the national news for the wrong reason. ODE’s paying close to $2 million to teach your kids that individual thought and accomplishments don’t count, that it’s all about groupthink. This revelation underscores what I’ve been saying for years. When you elect woke progressive Democrats, they hire non-elected woke progressive bureaucrats to run departments of state government, and headlines like this become the norm.

Re: Where are the priorities of the woke, progressive, bleeding-heart Democrat? As can be seen from the linked article, it’s obviously with the bums and bumettes, not with their children. There are laws in this country that won’t allow certain activities within so many feet of a school, yet these bum-lovers seem to have no problem with letting their kids walk past bums sticking needles in their arms, next to another one passed out in a drug-induced stupor, just trying to get to that school. None of this would be an issue if cities would invest in Transition Centers instead of programs that supply a steady stream of handouts that enable the bum’s continued domicile in their canvas condo communities.

Re: I couldn’t let this one go. It’s official – Tacoma will now pay you to be broke. You can’t make up this stuff. If you live there, your tax dollars will pay people who didn’t pay attention IN school, constantly DITCHED school, DROPPED OUT of school, or failed to grasp the importance of securing a skill to propel them through life with gainful employment. If you’ve ever wondered what an incentive to fail looks like, this is it.

Re: You don’t have to be the top-rated national night show host to observe that the Oregon Health Authority has lost the last of its credibility by saying that starting a meeting on time is a white supremacy thing. Therefore, we shouldn’t adhere to such urgency-related matters as being where you’re supposed to be, when you’re supposed to be there.

Re: Like birds of a feather, all these donkey’s ass idiots flock together. They need to take off their blinders so they can see who’s REALLY to blame for the high gas prices – his highness, Lyin’ Joe Biden. If Merkley were up for election this year, I wonder if he’d be dumb enough to have his buddy Biden campaign for him? Wyden IS up for election this year, but I haven’t read about any plans for HIM to invite the idiot to Oregon to stump for him.
