OREGON OBSERVATIONS 14 NOVEMBER 2022

Christine Drazan concedes race for Oregon governor. When it comes to governors and prudent voter-approved measures, commonsense Oregonians are disappointed once again. For those who are not native Oregonians, allow me to provide today’s history lesson. When it comes to governors, from 1859 to 1935, they were pretty evenly matched, with the governorship flip-flopping every other election between Democrats and Republicans. After the ’39 –’56 string of GOP governors, their presence began to sputter, returning to the every-other-term scenario. In the late ‘80s and early ‘90s, California experienced an increasing outward migration pattern that had started in the post-Vietnam War era due to the ever-increasing burden of local regulations, price inflation, and taxation. Oregon has been documented as the fourth most popular relocation destination for Californians after Texas, Arizona, and Nevada. Except for Texas, the influx of Californians that bring their woke progressive voting habits with them contributes to the bluing of these destination states. Oh, and before I forget, where do you think all those Californians moved when they entered the state? It sure as hell wasn’t places like Burns, Baker, or Silver Lake. It was wokecentric places like Portland – the City of Roses, already infested with Democridiots. An analysis of the last few election cycles reveals the same thing – in local, state, or national elections, Democrats win because of the same 7 counties out of 36. That means people living in only 19% of Oregon’s counties are making decisions for residents that live in the other 81% of them. And that, boys and girls, is why the Greater Idaho movement has gained so much traction and will continue to do so as long as Portland, Salem, and Eugene keep electing Democrats to run our government.

DAILY DELIBERATIONS 14 NOVEMBER 2022

Georgia senatorial candidate Raphael Warnock’s Ebenezer Building Foundation has failed to respond to an October inquiry into its charitable status in the state. You DON’T say! Do you mean there’s a possibility that Warnock’s not being completely forthright, honest, and in compliance with Georgia’s law? What the hell did you THINK was going on? He’s a Democrat, for Christ’s sake – that’s how they operate.

OREGON OBSERVATIONS 13 NOVEMBER 2022

Measure passes allowing ATV route access in Lakeside. Folks, from a safety perspective, this is a bad idea (see my earlier post – OO 21 Aug 22). Imagine having to share the streets with an unlicensed 13 or 14-year-old (or younger) operating an ATV on a trip to your favorite store in your hometown. Unless my common sense has short-circuited, this will not end well, and believe me, the first time I catch wind of a vehicular accident involving an ATV in Lakeside, I’ll be all over it like an ant on a sugar cube.

DAILY DELIBERATIONS 13 NOVEMBER 2022

Montana shamed as residents vote ‘No’ on the measure to protect babies after they’re born: ‘Unimaginable.’  What the hell happened?!? We’re talking about Montana, not the Hollywood-East town of Denver! I’ve driven the entire length of that state. I know people that live in that state, and ordinarily, I’d’ve told you it would be a cold day in hell before a measure like that would pass. This should be a lesson for us all – the moldy fungus caused by Democrats can grow and spread anywhere, apparently, even in a place where there’re over twice as many cattle than people.

OREGON OBSERVATIONS 12 NOVEMBER 2022

Sheriffs in Oregon vow not to implement portions of new gun control measure. If it’s passed, is anybody surprised? Measure 114 was cooked up by the same bleeding-heart wokesters poised to elect Queen Kotek. As a reminder, only 7 counties out of 36 have anything to do with passing these nonsensical measures. If you like to hunt, make sure you keep your gear in good shape ’cause the wokesters’ve installed so much state-mandated red tape that it’ll be at least 2024 before you can buy another rifle or shotgun.
