OREGON OBSERVATIONS 29 JANUARY 2023

It’s not safe’: Northeast Portland, OR neighborhood fed up with homeless, blame BottleDrop. It’s not JUST NE Portland. It’s ANY Bottle Drop location. I quit going to the one in Eugene because when they built at that location, they didn’t buy a lot big enough to accommodate parking, and you constantly had to compete with bums and their stolen shopping carts full of cans for a place to park. Springfield’s got more parking, but they’ve still got a lot of bum traffic – so much so that it’s a regular stop for a shopping cart bounty hunter that I met and talked to there.

Kotek: Fix homeless by paying everyone’s rent ($87M). HELLO! What the f⚡’s wrong with these idiot Democrats? Don’t use MY tax money to pay some deadbeat’s rent! This is only gonna get worse. The Democridiots in Salem made a high school diploma worthless in this state, so they’ll be more competition for non-livable wage jobs, and then they’ll want to help out more of the people they turned into non-achievers. The state’ll be a regular Democrats’ paradise – better than California (if that’s even possible).

NATIONAL NOTES.2 27 JANUARY 2023

Biden admin issues 20-year mining ban as it turns to foreign supply chain amid green energy push. It’s a wonder Biden can still smell, as often as he’s cut his nose off to spite his face. After all, it’s Biden’s WP Democrats that want to force us all into EVs and anything else their green agenda can dream up. By putting 88% of the US’s cobalt reserves off limits for the next 20 years, he and his Democridiots’ve guaranteed that we need to import it from anywhere they can find it. It wouldn’t surprise me if “anywhere” included his old influence buyer, communist China. This lunacy won’t end until we regain a commonsense White House in 2024.

NATIONAL NOTES.1 27 JANUARY 2023

San Diego wants to tax people out of their cars and into public transportation. Everybody – ESPECIALLY people that live in blueish states (like Oregon), counties, or cities, needs to be pissed about this San Diego proposal. “SANDAG’s new plan refuses to build the road improvements promised in their last plan but will continue to tax us until 2048 to pay for them. SANDAG’s finance plan states, ‘Charging fees for the transportation infrastructure that people use—for example, charging users for each mile they drive on the highway—can change travel behavior.’ It’s a bait and switch — freeway dollars, gas tax dollars, and registration fees promised for road improvements instead pay for costly public mass transit projects that less than 3% of the public uses.” San Diego is like any other Democrat-run town staffed with talented grant writers who bring in boatloads of federal cash to buy expensive buses and disrupt local street systems by building new corridors for them to use. Here’s the problem: they buy a fleet of these new made-in-the-USA buses that cost $800,000 apiece, and you can watch ’em drive around town with 3 or 4 people sitting inside. These cities say they’re going to improve existing roads and build new ones for cars using your increased tax dollars, when instead, they lied, so they can buy more new buses and alter more routes to make them bus friendly. All of this is to force you to take the bus for your shopping trip and carry two sacks full of groceries while some punk gets on at the next stop, pulls a knife, and takes your wallet. It’s harder to get mugged driving your own car than riding in a bus shared with strangers.

NATIONAL NOTES 27 JANUARY 2023

Prosecutors Need to Prosecute Act would require a public report on how much progressive district attorneys decline to charge certain crimes. Maybe this one would get voters’ attention. Nothing like showing the people how much dirt the WP prosecutors are sweeping under the rug – AT THE EXPENSE OF THE PUBLIC’S SAFETY! We can only hope this one’ll become law or resurface when we get rid of Biden so that it WILL become law.
