All I’m gonna say is that if this state set up a couple of Transition Centers east of the mountains to house Oregon’s 14,655 bums and bumettes, there wouldn’t be any volunteers to get burnt out ’cause there wouldn’t be any need for volunteers. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that state-mandated minimum wage increases cause layoffs, and data from the linked article confirms that. Democrats here and elsewhere’ve caused an economic tornado that feeds on itself – minimum wages go up, costs go up, and layoffs occur to alleviate profit margin loss. These inflationary pressures also increase your taxes in the long run ‘cause it costs more to keep the never-ending wheels of government turning.
