With the vast array of charging stations available (which will worsen if Blundering Biden gets his way), the lack of uniformity of features and quality often leaves the EV owner with a less-than-desirable charging experience. Kinda like being in the middle of nowhere, having the fuel gauge in your fossil-fueled rig read empty, and when you finally find a station, their underground tanks are dry.

Did you expect anything else outta the most feckless president since Carter? Even Biden has enough sense not to bite the hand that feeds you.
