NATIONAL NOTES 30 APRIL 2023
Two members of Congress had a fiery exchange on Wednesday when Rep. Troy Nehls accused Rep. Eric Swalwell of having a “checkered past” before withdrawing the remark. Swalwell, Nehls clash at child migrant hearing over alleged Chinese spy ties: ‘You don’t get to say that s—.’ Hey Swalwell – you f⚡⭐⚡in’ asswipe! YOU” RE the one who was ballin’ a Chinese spy – not him, so stick it in your ass.

OREGON OBSERVATIONS 30 APRIL 2023
Portland to ban delivery trucks in gas-free zone. Typical for a city run by Democrats – death by self-strangulation. Might as well. By allowing the anarchists to run wild and having a county DA that hands out get-out-of jail-free-cards like candy, Portland’s chasing out people and businesses that’re tired of constant crime. Prohibiting commercial deliveries made by fossil-fueled delivery vehicles could very well be the last nail in its coffin. The faster Portland dies and goes away, the quicker its Democrats’ll leave the area, and maybe, just maybe, they’ll be replaced by people that have a little common sense. I wouldn’t hold your breath though.

DAILY DELIBERATIONS 30 APRIL 2023
School board wants workers comp rather than lawsuit for teacher shot by 6-year-old. These school boards are outta control! Worker’s comp my ass. Worker’s comp covers a teacher when they suffer a workplace accident. Having a 6-year-old bring a gun to school and shoot a teacher is NOT a workplace accident. EVERYWHERE a school shooting happens, the school should be held liable for failure to provide a safe work environment for the teachers. The school’s argument is that school shootings happen all the time. Ergo, they’re a workplace hazard. BULLSHIT! It’s the school’s job to keep their employees and students safe from harm while they’re teaching and attending school, and if that means everyone goes through a metal detector and is searched at a controlled access point, so be it.

Iran seizes ship in Gulf of Oman, US Navy says. Come on, guys. You KNOW that’s all Iran’s good for. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Either provide naval escorts for commercial traffic headed out of the Persian Gulf for US shores or turn Iran into glass – one of the two.

OREGON OBSERVATIONS 29 APRIL 2023
Ochoco National Forest pulls the plug on disputed Lemon Gulch Trails Project. Don’t Bend Prineville, indeed. If the armchair naturalists want to enjoy nature, then find a place to walk on deer trails like the rest of us did before trail bikes were even invented.

DAILY DELIBERATIONS 29 APRIL 2023
DOJ sued for failing to comply with FOIA over anti-Catholic memo. In case you haven’t figured it out, the DOJ apple is rotten to the core. Calling Catholics “violent extremists” should be grounds for the head of the FBI AND DOJ to be canned. We’ve got ENOUGH problems with China, Russia, and Iran trying to do us in. We don’t need our own government trying to tear us apart.

NATIONAL NOTES.2 28 APRIL 2023
President Biden revealed a detailed cheat sheet including the details of a question from a reporter prior to calling on her during Wednesday’s press briefing. FOR CHRIST’S SAKE! This is as bad as the DNC slipping Hillary questions before the presidential debate in 2016. If the senility-ridden asshole can’t give an unrehearsed answer to random questions, it’s PAST time for him to go.
