OREGON OBSERVATIONS 6 MAY 2023

Sen. Wyden, and other Reps. urge bakers to stop unnecessarily adding sesame to baked goods. Hey Oregonians! You wanna see the biggest waste of your tax dollars? Look no further than the state senator Oregon’s Democrats have been electing for 42 years. The WP Democrats in power seemingly have nothing better to do than attack your local bakery for ingredients they don’t like. If they’re concerned about an allergic reaction, all the bakeries have to do is list the ingredients, the same way they have to include the sales tax amount if they operate in a state that HAS a state sales tax. It’s bad enough that the Democrats are telling you what to drive. Now they’re telling you what to eat.

NATIONAL NOTES.1 5 MAY 2023

Whistleblower alleges FBI, DOJ have document revealing criminal scheme involving Biden, foreign national. For Christ’s sake! How many smoking guns do they have to find with Biden’s fingerprints all over them before they deal with the lyin’ bastard? Based on cell phone video taken during the January 6 incident, they’ve got conservatives in jail right now. Hunter’s laptop and his former business partner’s testimony had waaay more credibility yet Lyin’ Biden’s still living in the White House. If he were Pinocchio, his nose’d stretch across four counties.

OREGON OBSERVATIONS.2 5 MAY 2023

Oregon Republican senators walk off floor ahead of abortion, gun votes. Regardless of the reason given (or NOT given) for the walkout, in the words of Rhett Butler – “Frankly Scarlett, I don’t give a damn,” I’m just glad it happened. I have no idea how many of us’ve written Republican senators and representatives begging them to reemploy the tried-and-true walkout to deny a quorum and stop Democrats and their WP legislation in its tracks. While Measure 113 would create a career hiatus after 10 unexcused absences during a session, the sacrifice of any Republican lawmaker won’t go unnoticed. Let’s face it. The state doesn’t pay them a living wage and then expects them to go to Salem and put up with the social justice, anti-gun rhetoric flowing out of the capital building. I certainly couldn’t do it, and daily I applaud any Republican or Independent who has the resolve to put up with the Democrats’ bullshit day in and day out.

OREGON OBSERVATIONS 5 MAY 2023

Rep, Boshart Davis calls on legislature to pass Impeachment Constitutional Amendment. Common sense at its core. That’s why they have the death penalty and life in prison – to keep people from killing others. If something like this were on the books already, maybe we wouldn’t have an elected official holding a governmental cabinet position, moonlighting as a consultant for a pot company, pulling in $10,000 a month on top of her $31,379 a year state salary. That person had not one but two college degrees. I don’t know what to tell you if she couldn’t turn those into some conflict-free cash to give her a livable wage.
