DAILY DELIBERATIONS 13 JULY 2023

Century-old business latest casualty of San Francisco retail closures. Here’s an idea. Why don’t all the businesses still hanging on in San Francisco close shop and move away? When the elected officials start crying about lost revenue, they can cut up the bay bridge and recycle the steel to replace the taxes they aren’t gettin’ anymore. If the loss of the bridge pisses off whatever taxpayers that’re left in town, so be it. They’re the ones who elected all the WP politicians that let the criminals take over, so they finally got what they voted for.

NATIONAL NOTES.1 12 JULY 2023

Dem bill in California would mandate judges to consider race when doling out prison sentences. WHAT?!? This thinking is EXACTLY why California’s got the problems it’s got already, and if this thing passes, it’ll only get worse. Release with low or no bail and being unable to arrest someone unless they steal at least $1000 worth of stuff. Both laws were cooked up by the Democrats and signed by an idiot governor – also a Democrat. Giving someone a lighter sentence just because they are Black or Brown will only cause the crime rate to go up in the state because after they finally have enough on the perpetrator to put ’em in jail, they let ’em go earlier to return to their life of crime. What genius thought this one up? Shithead Schiff or Spy-screwing Swalwell must have shirttail relatives in Sacramento ’cause that sounds like something THEY’D come up with.

OREGON OBSERVATIONS 12 JULY 2023

TV ad exposes Congresswoman Val Hoyle for $$ tied to pot scandal. Well, well, well. Wadda ya know. Is ANYBODY surprised? This writer certainly isn’t. Once again, a Democrat with a 7.4% lead over the Republican candidate is pushed over the finish line by the stack of corrupt cash she accepted. The closest chance we’ve had in years for having a commonsenser as a District 4 Representative, wiped out by money thrown around by a Democrat-loving pot shop with a sleazy track record.

DAILY DELIBERATIONS 12 JULY 2023

Washington state department slapped with $100 million fine for neglecting mental health services in jails. Working on the assumption that the state didn’t hire any shrinks ’cause they were tryin’ to save money, it had to be cheaper to hire one for each of the 11 state-run prisons than the $100 million fine they got. Wouldn’t you think that before they spent $100 million in salaries, they could’ve asked the Democrats in Olympia for more money?
