DAILY DELIBERATIONS.1 12 SEPTEMBER 2023

California kids could become ‘wards of the state’ under new gender affirmation rule, mom warns: ‘Dangerous.’ Only in zombie-creating California could a law like this be possible. If you as a parent disapprove and rebel against the schools that convinced your kid they were batting for the wrong team, your kid can become state property – be taken away if you don’t go along. For God’s sake! That’s got communism written all over it! Nitwit Newsom will sign any of these loony-tunes laws his Democrats put in front of him, so I hope whatever semblance of common sense in the state fights tooth and nail to get this draconian policy overturned in the courts.

NATIONAL NOTES 11 SEPTEMBER 2023

18% of millennials, 12% of Gen Z believe they will never own a home. Let’s analyze this. Out of the 12% and 18% groups mentioned, we have to remove the percentage with no initiative to work. Next, we have to look at the career aspirations of the resultants. If some WP high school counselor convinced them that going into debt for $100,000 to $200,000 to get a degree in Behavior Analysis of South American Tree Frogs was the only way to make a living, we have problem #1. Problem #2 resides in the fact that (according to published reports) the vast majority of these Gen Zers believe it’s possible to start at the top – that they’ll be able to walk out of the classroom, degree in hand, and go directly to their corner office as a vice president on the 10th floor. Problem #3 starts when they discover that even if they can find one of those jobs, it will only exist in one of the metropolitan areas where the housing market’s on fire. And therein lies problem #4. When high school guidance counselors advise these young minds, it should be mandatory that they provide handouts and instruction on the economic realities of life in general. In other words, how to budget for day-to-day occurrences and how those obligatory life expenses relate to salary expectations and distribution.

OREGON OBSERVATIONS 11 SEPTEMBER 2023

Oregon plans to use Medicaid money for rental assistance for those who qualify. Are you SEEING this?!? Can you BELIEVE it?!? If you wonder where Oregon got the reputation of being an extension of California, this is it. They’re gonna use Medicaid money to provide some Medicaid recipients money to help with their rent, stating that being too broke to pay the landlord affects their health. Really? What’s next? Buyin’ ’em a new car, ’cause that’ll make ’em feel better about themselves, which affects their mental health. For God’s sake! Why don’t they just have a state employee drive around town with the back seat fulla of cash and throw a few handfuls out the window to every bum they see? Folks, as a taxpayer, it’s ideas like this one that should piss you off. Let’s not lose sight of the fact that no government, anywhere, at any level – city, county, state, or federal – has any of its own money. They only have YOUR money. YOUR tax dollars. And when some WP bleeding heart bureaucrat, who only got hired ’cause he gave lots of money to the Democrat that got elected last cycle, gets a hair-brained idea like this, it needs to make you mad enough to bite nails.
