Like any privately owned business, the hospital is losing money, so they decided to curtail the portion that was a financial drain. Of course, the whiny, touchy-feely WP Democrats (led by the grand poohbah) are demanding that Crazy Kotek get involved, force them to stay open and continue to lose money, so the hippies and U of O students won’t have to obtain a ride to the Riverbend hospital if they have an impacted hangnail, instead of walking around the corner.
