OREGON OBSERVATIONS 7 NOVEMBER 2023

Kotek panel eyes sales tax. Now THAT’S an idea, as long as it’s a PORTLAND sales tax. Crazy Kotek and Wimpy Wheeler are looking for a way to come up with the millions they wanna spend to fix all the problems brought on by that city’s WP environment which festered during the BLM and Antifa riots, destruction, and vandalism that took place in 2020. Maybe if they throw a local sales tax on top of the highest local income tax in the US (not just Oregon), they’ll drive the last nail in the coffin. U-Haul will have to transfer in more trucks to handle the explosive outbound migration.

NATIONAL NOTES.1 6 NOVEMBER 2023

House approves nearly $14.5B in Israeli military aid, Biden aims to veto GOP approach. The proof’s in the puddin’, as the saying goes. You’ve heard about this’n – right? House Democrats joined the Republicans to pass legislation that removed $14.5 billion from Biden’s bloated and previously passed IRA that was earmarked for the IRS and turned it into an aid package for Israel in their time of need. Predictably, the evenly split Senate said it was DOA, and Biden’s saying if it even MAKES it to his desk, he’ll veto it. With the spineless Democrats runnin’ things, is there any doubt the forces of evil in the world are just rubbing their hands, waiting for the right time to slip one or more terrorists in with the millions of wetbacks, and set off another 9/11? Even if it doesn’t happen on Biden’s watch, it’ll still be the Democrat’s fault ’cause he’s the dumbshit that left the door open and let ’em in.

OREGON OBSERVATIONS 6 NOVEMBER 2023

Data shows youth refuse to leave home. Really? The linked article suggests that the younger generation’s hampered by a tight housing market. Although that may well be PART of it, I’d suggest that the real reason is a prolonged immaturity brought on by WP parents, who’ve always wanted to be their buddies instead of instilling in them the fact that life’s hard. They either need to stand firmly on their own two feet or get run over. They’re never gonna learn that living in mommy’s basement.
