OREGON OBSERVATIONS 21 NOVEMBER 2023

Differing opinions on no longer requiring the bar exam in Oregon. JEsus Christ! Oregon strikes again! I don’t care what they say. They’re only doing this to solve the Public Defender drought the state’s got. Let me ask you. When, for whatever reason, you need legal representation in a court of law (and God forbid your life depended on it), would you wanna put your freedom in the hands of someone who hadn’t taken the time-tested bar exam to prove their competency? Oregon is only one of five states (run mainly by Democrats) not to require passing the test as proof of legal proficiency and mastery of the state’s legal code.

NATIONAL NOTES 20 NOVEMBER 2023

Michigan Tech professor on leave following tirade against conservative group. It’s about damned time SOMEBODY came to their senses. These radical-thinking professors are entrenched in almost all of our institutions of higher learning. I’ve told you before – more than once – that these teachers are either former Vietnam War protesters or their kids, who were brought up to think the same way as the hippies that hung around airports in the late ’60s and early ’70s, looking for anyone traveling in uniform so they could shout profanities, and call ’em baby killers.
