NATIONAL NOTES.1 9 FEBRUARY 2024

Biden claims he spoke with German chancellor who died in 2017 at first G7 meeting in latest gaffe. That’s twice in the same week he’s said he just talked to a world leader who’s been dead for years. If a piece of heavy equipment had that many crossed wires, the electrical system would short out, cause a fire, and burn it down. How is it that Biden’s still walkin’ around? As many slips of the tongue he’s got under his belt, the gaffe machine should’ve melted down by now.

NATIONAL NOTES 9 FEBRUARY 2024

Here are the 3 House Republicans who torpedoed Mayorkas’ impeachment vote. There were three Republicans who voted against the impeachment of DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas this week, torpedoing the vote in the House. Notice that NONE of these three RINOs represent Texas, Arizona, or New Mexico. Ironically though, since Biden threw open the door to a flood of wetbacks, the phrase of the day is “Every state is a border state.” Assuming that statement reflects reality, I’d be amazed if any of these guys make it through the 5th of November unscathed.

OREGON OBSERVATIONS.1 9 FEBRUARY 2024

Sen. Merkley: Border Bill failed due to Republicans playing politics. I beg to differ. It was a 370 page bill, and here’s just ONE tidbit of why it failed that I’ll offer: This is just one of three laughable questions asked of an illegal alien encountered at the border – could you have stayed in Mexico, to which (unless they were a complete idiot) would obviously be answered with a “no.” Do Biden and his boys think this bill will be the impetus of change that automatically turns millions of wetback lawbreakers into truthful, upstanding people? Give me a break. Problematic portions like the above is why this bill failed. Merkley can blame it on Republicans all he wants. It had big enough holes to drive a truck through. While we’re on Merkley, I’ll ask again: How did he turn into a card-carrying Democrat, go to the dark side, and get elected as a US Senator to start with? He’s from Myrtle Creek for Christ’s sake! Over the years, I’ve known more than a few people from there. It’s a loggin’ town, full of common sense. Without fail, every time I’ve written to him, his replies have gone on at length about how his position was righteous. I will say this: At least he responds every time. That’s more than I can say about Oregon’s other Senator. I’ve NEVER received a reply from Wyden – not even from his staff.

OREGON OBSERVATIONS 9 FEBRUARY 2024

SUB hosts ‘public listening meeting,’ customers upset. YA THINK! A lot of these people were out of power for well over a week. I personally know people who live in the Springfield area who were without power for between 8 and 12 days. How would YOU like to be told your house was a low priority while you were freezing and sittin’ in the dark for over a week. How does SUB determine high and low priority for power restoration? Do they take into consideration the people who run a business out of their homes, and what being without power for a week does to that business? If nothin’ else, this whole experience is an example of what’s gonna happen when the WP earthfirsters finally get control, close all the gas stations, and force more load on an electrical grid that’s already stretched thin. When those days come around, you won’t be sittin’ in the dark for a week because of an ice storm. You’ll be sittin’ in the dark because of a bunch of WP Democrats. Maybe after that happens a few times, everybody’ll get tired of it and vote for people with common sense who won’t let that happen.

NATIONAL NOTES 8 FEBRUARY 2024

‘Bidenomics’ falls flat with voters as Trump takes strong lead in new head-to-head poll. I’m only gonna say this once. If it hadn’t been for the timing of the Chinese virus, #45 would be #46, and 3 years into his 2nd term right now. The isolation created by the misguided Fauci mask mandates pushed any fence-sittin’ voters over to Biden’s side, lookin’ for a way out of the day-to-day misery caused by widespread lockdowns, having to wear a mask 24/7 and 1.2 million American deaths. It’s the only theory which supports the age-old premise that people vote with their wallets. Under #45, there was nothin’ wrong in the wallet department. When inflation hit 9%, thanks to Biden and his Democrats spendin’ money like a bunch of drunken sailors, all of the people that voted for ‘im had an “oh shit” moment. By then, it was too late – the train had already left the station.

OREGON OBSERVATIONS 8 FEBRUARY 2024

Backup generators at EWEB’s Hayden Bridge plant kept water drinkable during ice storms. Are you treehuggin’ earthfirsters payin’ attention yet? Wadda you think those backup generators use for fuel – unicorns and sunshine? No. They run on the fossil fuels you’re tryin’ to do away with. If you want to revert to livin’ like a Neanderthal, do it by yourself and leave the rest of us alone.
