As bad as that sounds for Biden and his Democrats, there’s an even worse scenario waiting in the wings. Pelosi has said she’ll tack on a West Virginia pipeline deal that Manchin made with Schumer in the Senate to the upcoming continuing resolution bill to fund the government. The problem is, if she does, over 70 House Democrats are saying they won’t vote to keep the government from shutting down, that Manchin’s deal was with Schumer, not them. 4
