Just when you think you’ve heard all the dumb ways Democrats have spent other people’s money, a story like this comes along. Who on God’s green earth thought THIS idea would work? Oh yeah – Democridiots that live a stone’s throw from SF – that makes sense. There’s a couple of obvious problems here. 1. Assuming the plan works the way it’s envisioned, the bums just become somebody else’s problem. 2. Unless somebody puts an ear tag on the bum or bumette as they hand ’em $18,000, there’s nothing to stop them from leaving town and coming back in a couple of weeks to get in line again for another 18 grand. You see, that’s the problem with Democrats – they’re in such a hurry to spend somebody else’s money, they don’t think things all the way through. 4
