Do you think there should be term limits for Congress? OF COURSE, but therein lies the rub. The members of Congress and senators in office would have to sponsor and pass a bill to make that happen, and the president would have to sign it. Think about it. That’d be like interviewing for a $174,000-a-year job, being accepted for that job, and when you walked into the office on your first day, being told the longest you could work there was 6 to 12 years. Do you think ANY of ’em knocking down THAT kind of money and holding THAT kind of power will voluntarily give it up? I don’t think so, but I guess there’s a first time for everything.
