Oregon board delays vote to freeze math, reading grad requirement for four more years after pushback. Leave it to the WP Board of Education to start this state’s high school graduates on the bottom rung of the lifetime success ladder. If they can’t add 2 + 4 and get 4 every time or read a sign, how in the hell are they gonna ever find meaningful work? Even a janitor has to be able to read and understand a caution sign that says “caution – danger of electrocution.”
