SUB hosts ‘public listening meeting,’ customers upset. YA THINK! A lot of these people were out of power for well over a week. I personally know people who live in the Springfield area who were without power for between 8 and 12 days. How would YOU like to be told your house was a low priority while you were freezing and sittin’ in the dark for over a week. How does SUB determine high and low priority for power restoration? Do they take into consideration the people who run a business out of their homes, and what being without power for a week does to that business? If nothin’ else, this whole experience is an example of what’s gonna happen when the WP earthfirsters finally get control, close all the gas stations, and force more load on an electrical grid that’s already stretched thin. When those days come around, you won’t be sittin’ in the dark for a week because of an ice storm. You’ll be sittin’ in the dark because of a bunch of WP Democrats. Maybe after that happens a few times, everybody’ll get tired of it and vote for people with common sense who won’t let that happen.
