City, county could adopt River Road-Santa Clara plan in April, discarding years of volunteer effort. Typical WP hippiefied City of Eugene and Lane County attitude – my way or the highway. Nobody that sits on those boards gives a damn about what happens along River Road or in Santa Clara. They don’t live there and won’t haveta put up with the traffic and livability mess their decisions will cause. Ask any of the business owners along 11th Ave between Garfield and the Beltline what they think about the city or county.
