If I didn’t time it right, and was in a shop tryin’ to buy equipment parts during prayer time, I was stuck inside – couldn’t leave OR finish conducting business until it was over. On the bus coming back from R & R in Bahrain, we were stopped at a border crossing area (a wide spot on the bridge connectin’ the two countries), where they made us leave our bags, and deboard, while the bus and contents were searched for any prohibited items (booze and porn).
