Eugene proposes new restrictions for dog owners in city parks. A quote from the article: “A huge complaint within the housed community is they don’t like the homeless because there’s too much trash. Well, if they can’t put their dog on their bike or their trailers or anything like that, they can’t clean up their trash because they’ve got to have their dog’s leash in their hand. That seems kind of silly and ridiculous to me.” Here’s an idea: Instead of this person’s misguided notion that the homeless clean up their trash, why doesn’t Eugene, and the rest of the state, use some common sense, and just get rid of the bums?
