Arson suspect arrested twice in a day shines light on Oregon catch and release policy. He’s an idea: Leave the sonofabitch in jail till court’s in session the next day, and let an elected judge make the decision as to whether or not to let him walk. Sure, nobody got killed this time, but I’m sure the people that had their car set on fire will disagree with the policy that’s in place.
