Democratic senators move to block Trump $1 coins from Treasury Department mint. Sen. Jeff Merkley, D-Ore. is one of the senators set to introduce the legislation on Tuesday, dubbed the Change Corruption Act. The bill would prohibit the federal government from minting currency that bears “the likeness of a living or sitting president.” Leave it to Muttonhead Merkley to push back against common sense, and a president he already loathes. The bigger indictment, though, is against the woke progressive Oregon voters who sent ‘im to Washington in the first place.
