Sec-State may ignore deadline with waivers. The Secretary of State is rumored to be suggesting that he will make up for lost time voters have by voiding any fees or signature requirements for arguments in the Voter Pamphlet Statement. It is uncertain whether the Secretary of State can change the law without actually changing the law. So what else is new? The Democrats that run this state would NEVER pass up the opportunity to shove somethin’ down our throats. When’s the last time they passed a law that benefited anybody but themselves? Here’s a hint: Commonsensers haven’t had a legislative majority in this state for 24 years.
