Los Angeles hotels cut 6% of jobs in wake of new wage law, guests face price hikes. I tried to tell you this was gonna happen. Angelenos’ve got nobody to blame but themselves, for electin’ a boatload of Democrats, includin’ their mayor. That’s the problem with dimwitted Democrats – they’ve always treated entry-level jobs as if they were a career choice. For Christ’s sake! In 1965, I was makin’ $1.25 an hour pumpin’ gas, but I sure as hell didn’t plan on doin’ THAT for the rest of my life. Mark my words – now that she’s given hotel staff $30 an hour, it won’t be long before you’ll need a $100 bill just to buy a burger and fries in LA.
