Oregon can’t legislate member loyalty. The vast majority of those encountered can’t see how they benefit from being SEIU members. They feel under-represented. They’re convinced their union is more concerned with advancing their leadership’s political agenda than their workplace concerns. There ya go. I rest my case. I’ve been sayin’ for YEARS that unions care more about unions than the people they take money from.
