The crackdown has led to nearly 2,000 illegal firearms seized, 35 homicide suspects caught, and 25 missing children found. Don’t forget – all the Democrats – especially the mayor of DC – were against his push to restore law and order. The town’s always had a crime problem. Startin’ back in the early ‘70s, I was stationed a couple of times just down the road at Ft. Belvoir, and the one thing you DIDN’T do was go into town alone. Only a Democrat’d say there wasn’t a problem and criticize efforts to fix it.
