Crazy Kotek shoved this idea down the Democrat supermajority’s throat, and they dutifully got in lockstep and passed it. The whole thing was a ploy by the Democrats in this state to get voters on their side of the fence – plain and simple, and I’m pretty sure the only reason it became an issue at all is that a commonsenser accidentally discovered wetbacks were registered to vote.
