Do you think Americans should receive rebate checks from tariff revenue? The majority (66%) of over 34,000 people said yes. The way I look at it, they could send each taxpayer close to $2,000 to make up for the slightly higher prices we may have to pay as a result of the tariffs, but they need to take whatever’s left and make payments on the $37.7 TRILLION national debt.

NATIONAL NOTES.1 7 OCTOBER 2025

Kristi Noem says she was denied entry to an Illinois government building for a bathroom break while federal agents arrested protesters at a nearby immigration facility. Fatass Pritzker’s in a war he’s gonna wish he hadn’t started. On the bright side, when the rest of this country’s woke progressive Democrat governors see him get tarred and feathered, maybe they’ll change their tune.

OREGON OBSERVATIONS 7 OCTOBER 2025

Republican Monique DeSpain announces second bid to unseat Rep. Val Hoyle. Everybody who wants to end the scourge of Democrat representation in District 4, keep your fingers crossed, and send money to https://www.moniqueforcongress.com/.  Hairbrained Hoyle, like her predecessor DeFazio, parrots the woke progressive, dipped in liberal policies embraced by the Democratic Party. You know: lovers of transies, wetbacks, and ragheads. The fact that she’s in office proves there’s a severe lack of common sense in District 4. What’ll change that, though, is the implementation of Crazy Kotek’s $4.3 billion tax increase and the length of time the Schumer Shutdown drags on. Those two factors, combined with a well-qualified candidate, might be just enough to usher in a return of common sense to this part of Oregon we haven’t seen since 1972.

Newsom threatens funding cuts to California universities that ‘bend to the will of Donald Trump.’ Nitwit Newsom’s a typical Democrat (just like the ones we’ve got to thank for shuttin’ down the government). It’s his ball, and if the schools don’t play his way, he’s takin’ it back to Sacramento. And this is the guy who wants the keys to the White House? Give me a break.

DAILY DELIBERATIONS 7 OCTOBER 2025

Dearborn residents push city to curb noise levels from mosque’s call to prayer. Neighbor of mosque says some residents have been afraid to speak up out of fear of being labeled ‘Islamophobic.’ City council President Mike Sareini confirmed police found ordinance violations after two years of complaints about amplified Islamic prayer calls in Dearborn.  For any readers who’ve ever been deployed to a Middle Eastern country, you know what they’re talkin’ about. And it’s more than loudspeakers bombarding your ears. If you happen to be in a commercial building trying to conduct business during prayer time, you’re stuck there until it’s over, and Lord help you if you get caught smokin’ during the 30 days of Ramadan.
