NATIONAL NOTES 5 SEPTEMBER 2025

Chicago sees 5 killed, 35 wounded over Labor Day weekend as Trump warns of Guard intervention. Mayor Johnson and Governor Pritzker reject federal military deployment as an ‘unconstitutional power grab’ despite the city being gripped by violence. If the people of Illinois and Chicago don’t vote out both these fatasses at the first opportunity, they deserve everything they get.

OREGON OBSERVATIONS.1 5 SEPTEMBER 2025

Democrats postpone vote on Kotek’s transportation bill until Sept. 17. Initially, Crazy Kotek delayed the ODOT firings until 15 September, giving her Democrats time to shove the tax increases down our throats, thereby saving the jobs of her union constituents. This is because no commonsensers are votin’ for the highway robbery, and the Democrats can’t afford to have even one defector. Because the Democridiots are runnin’ things, and they’ve got a guy that’s still healin’ up after a medical procedure, they postponed the vote till 17 Sep so that he’ll be back and they’ll have enough bodies to pass the bill. Keep your fingers crossed that they’ll get surprised and at least one of ’em will come to their senses, push back against the governor, do the right thing for all Oregonians (not just the union-lovin’ Democrats), and vote against it.

OREGON OBSERVATIONS 5 SEPTEMBER 2025

Oregon lawmakers propose bipartisan amendment to ban ‘secret police.’ Bipartisan my ass. You’d expect anything else from a Democrat and a RINO? If this thing becomes law, and wetback lovin’ Oregon thinks it’s got money problems now, just wait till some law enforcement member’s house gets burnt down as a direct result of the no-face-covering and badge-number-display requirement, and the state gets sued into oblivion. It doesn’t matter where it happens, this is a result of a generation or two of transplanted Californians wormin’ their way into the local politics of the new place they’ve invaded. Don’t believe me? All you’ve gotta do is look at places like Colorado. Hippies moved there ’cause of the ski resorts and burrowed in like a bunch of ticks. The Greater Idaho movement has the right idea, but I don’t think I’ve got another move left in me. During the 22 years I wore a uniform, I moved every 2.75 years, and later, four times as a civilian. I get tired just thinkin’ about it.

DAILY DELIBERATIONS.1 5 SEPTEMBER 2025

From Teddy Roosevelt to Reagan to Trump, presidents have warned of power-hungry public-sector unions. For over a century, clashes over public-sector unions have fueled a fight over government power and the future of American democracy. Here’s a tidbit I’ve pointed out before: “Carter … created the Department of Education, long sought by teachers’ unions. They have been paying back Democrats ever since. A new report shows the top two teachers’ unions have given almost $50 million to left-wing groups since 2022.”

Woman arrested after attempting to run over Border Patrol agents.Olivia Wilkins, 24, has been arrested and faces charges including aggravated reckless conduct, criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, reckless driving, hindering arrest, obstructing government functions, and failure to stop for an officer.” Another wetback lovin’ Democrat or Democrat sympathizer.

NATIONAL NOTES 4 SEPTEMBER 2025

‘Nonsensical’ illegal immigrant tuition policy scrapped in Kentucky, Bondi lawsuit deal. AG Russell Coleman says education agency agreed to end practice two months after DOJ filed suit. 18 USC 1623, states that “notwithstanding any other provision of law, an alien who is not lawfully present in the United States shall not be eligible on the basis of residence within a state for any postsecondary education benefit unless a citizen or national of the United States is eligible for such a benefit … without regard to whether the citizen or national is such a resident.” Seems pretty clear to me.
