OREGON OBSERVATIONS.1 18 NOVEMBER 2024
Oregon’s sanctuary law, which prevents local police from cooperating with federal authorities on immigration enforcement, is practically begging for the incoming administration to make an example of it. Oregon may find itself at the center of the storm because of this—and yet here we are with elected leaders more concerned with protecting illegal immigrants than the people who voted for them. Oregon’s Democrat-infested Willamette Valley and every other sanctuary state better get ready ‘cause I have no doubt #45/47’ll keep his promise to the commonsense American voter and get rid of the wetbacks that Biden and his Democrats let invade our country. He needs to go through the Democrats like Grant through Richmond.

OREGON OBSERVATIONS 18 NOVEMBER 2024
Rep. Shelly Boshart Davis calls on Environmental Quality Commission to delay truck, RV ban. Oregon Democrats followin’ California’s treehugger earthfirster CARB rules is a classic case of not bein’ able to get there from here. This state was in such a hurry to copy the state full of hippies to the south that they never stopped to consider some critical factors before enacting the law. Things like the availability of technology to even accomplish what they’re demanding, and the financial impact on the vehicle manufacturers. Governments in general, need to provide incentives if they expect the private sector to jump through their regulatory hoops. If they don’t, sooner or later, somebody’s gonna drag ’em into court, and they’re gonna lose. For example, look no further than Loper Bright v. Department of Commerce and Relentless v. Department of Commerce. The NMFS said that commercial fishermen had to pay for fishery observers to ride along to make sure they were following the rules. That earthfirster rule didn’t survive a Supreme Court test. If you can’t wrap your mind around that one, consider big pharma. Why do you think some life-saving drugs cost so much? It’s because the manufacturers are footin’ the bill for all the R&D they had to pour into the product to make it do what it does. Don’t you think the builders of trucks are faced with the same dilemma? If they pass along any R&D costs involved in complying with this state’s regulations to the consumer, nobody could afford ’em, and the State of Oregon will’ve regulated itself right outta the ability to deliver products, or haul ANYTHING, anywhere within its boundaries. Thanks to Democrat lawmakers in the Beaver State, pretty quick nobody’ll be able to live here ‘cause they won’t be able to afford anything brought in by a truck – and that’s everything on any store’s shelves, anywhere in the state.
