Alternative proposal to save some Eugene city services could replace fire fee. My regular readers will recognize this as a déjà vu piece, but I can’t overstate it enough. Even the dipshit Democrats that run this town releaize that their additional tax on property owners to pay for basic fire services won’t survive the upcoming November’s ballot measure. As a direct result, they’ve come up with the idea of making people who actually USE the potential discontinued services pay for those services, instead of making every homeowner in town pay for it (even when they don’t avail themselves).

Alternative proposal to save some Eugene city services could replace fire fee. Now THERE’S a novel idea. If people are pissed that the Amazon Pool’s gonna have to close ’cause there’s no money to run it, make the people who actually use it on a regular basis should havta pay a fee to use it, instead of makin’ everyone pay for it. Now all they have to do is carry it one step farther, and make the Democrats the only ones to pay for all the bum and wetback handouts, and we’d be set.
