US bombers arrive in Middle East as concerns of Iranian attack on Israel mount. It reminds me of the night Desert Storm’s air war started in 1991. Wearing full MOPP gear sittin’ in a foxhole for what seemed like forever, as I looked up, the sky was literally filled with the wing lights of bombers and fighters headed north across the border into Iraq. Months later, waitin’ to fly back to the States, I shared a mess hall table in Khobar with an Airforce colonel who told me if I had looked up a few minutes later, I wouldn’t’ve seen anything, because they shut off their navigation lights once they flew into Iraqi airspace.

105 days: Kamala Harris has yet to do formal press conference since emerging as Democratic nominee. I’ve been watchin’ and waitin’ to weigh in on this, but now that it’s been over 100 days, and Election Day’s tomorrow, I can’t wait any longer. Comrade Kamala’s been hidin’ from an unbiased microphone ’cause she has nothing to say outside of her feel-good platitudes, pandering, and vague references to nonexistent policy descriptions.

Environmental groups sue to stop USFWS plan to kill barred owls. This is rich. These are the same treehugger earthfirsters that caused the Spotted Owl panic in the ’80s that threw hundreds of logging industry employees outta work.  They said the owls were dyin’ because we were loggin’ the old-growth trees they lived in when the REAL reason they were goin’ away was the Barred Owls moved into their habitat and evicted them, just like they always have. The evolution of those two species has been goin’ on forever, not just the last 20 + years. This latest knee-jerk reaction from the hippies shows just how braindead they are.
