I’ve stood on my soapbox more than once, alerting you to the capacity for state employees to err on the side of ineptitude.

Controversial Dolton Mayor Tiffany Henyard facing eviction. Tiffany Henyard dubbed ‘worst mayor in America’ by residents of Dolton, Illinois. I’ve gotta say – good riddance to bad rubbish. How is it possible that a mayor elected to run a city, be behind $3,300 on her rent, have an eviction notice filed against her, and NOT be voted the worst mayor in America by the same people that put her in office? Talk about pissin’ off the pope.

President Biden grew heated with a reporter who asked why he wasn’t at the White House “commanding” Hurricane Helene response over the weekend. I want everyone to look at the optics here. The president is apparently too busy planning his next weekend at the beach, and Comrade Kamala’s too busy campaignin’ to go to any of the places where Americans have no cell service, power, water, food, or passable roads, but #45 managed to find the time to not only go there but also brought much-needed supplies to one of the hardest hit areas. For God’s sake – remember that in November.

Former President Trump called for tougher immigration rules Friday while criticizing VP Harris over conditions at the southern border. As bad as I wanna chastise Biden and Harris both for the absolute mess they’ve gotten us into, this country’s Democrats aren’t blameless here. For Christ’s sake! They’re the ones that put both of ‘em in office. Us commonsensers sure as hell didn’t vote for ‘em.

Measure 118 digs $1.3b hole … Kotek, unions, liberals fume. Measure 118 tax will create a 1.3 billion dollar hole in the State Budget.  This is because Measure 118’s massive 3% new corporate minimum tax does not pay enough to give out free $1,000 to $1,600 checks to all Oregonians. This means the remaining fund must come out of the State General Fund. I thought it was bad enough before, but now you REALLY have a reason to vote against it.
